Re: Space Bothawui TCW
Warb_Null never made a Venator, as EaW already has one. He made a Republic Light Cruiser though (the one from Grevious Intrigue).
As for which Venator to use, I actually say go for the stock one. All the others have turned out to be more trouble than they're worth.
Just don't put autoturrets on the dorsal hanger doors like Pandemic did.

My thoughts exactly, but I am not sure if the stock Venator would fit...hmhm, reskinning time.Lagomorphia wrote:As for which Venator to use, I actually say go for the stock one. All the others have turned out to be more trouble than they're worth.
Don't worry, I try to stay as much canon as possible.Lagomorphia wrote:Just don't put autoturrets on the dorsal hanger doors like Pandemic did.
Off-Topic:
Yeah, a terrible one. I heard it is like the Yavin sky for a map in BF2 maps if you have that Venator in your mod.Lagomorphia wrote:Warb_Null never made a Venator, as EaW already has one.
Ah, I really thought he made one.

I don't think it's terrible...
Nevertheless it is a stock asset so using it would be porting. Interesting how everyone gets so worked up about KotOR assets being ported to Battlefront but people freely port from BF2 to BF1 and from FoC to EaW.

That's because Bioware holds some of the copyright to the entire Old Republic era since they created it.

Re: Space Bothawui TCW
People don't get worked up about BF1 to BF2 and FoC to EaW because in both cases its games made by the same studio using a very similar/the same engine and actually using some of the same assets in the second game.Lagomorphia wrote:I don't think it's terrible...

Re: Space Bothawui TCW
I think this is a slight misunderstanding. BioWare did not create it, Dark Horse did,Teancum wrote:*Ahem* -- read the rest of the articleDarth_Squoobus wrote:*Ahem* Dark Horse.Teancum wrote:That's because Bioware holds some of the copyright to the entire Old Republic era since they created it.

, but BioWare definitely owns the assets, models, etc. from KotoR, and that's why you shouldn't port from that game, because the stuff you're porting isn't yours, it's theirs.Leland Chee wrote:...origins in the Tales of the Jedi comics...

Nice. I really like the new asteroid belt, it's a lot more tidy and easier on the eye.

Re: Space Bothawui TCW
Why not use a mix of stock Venators and custom ones?
