How to creat a obg data

Post by Executer94 »

Hi guys I just noticed that it is comfortable to use obg datas, you know it?
You have to load it as group because it contains more than one odf file. So I thought how do you creat a obj file? :)

Select multiple objects in ZE, and then click on save as obg.

Pretty self-explanatory, so actually no problem.

You can also if you are trying to reproduce something from a shipped map create a obg file from that map copy it over to your map along with all the proper msh, tga, option and odf files and then just place the group into your map and move it to where you want. Very helpful for things like the death star center bridge parts and the like.

Also in ZE if you hide and make non active the parts around the bits you do want to make a group from which makes it easier to make sure you only select the right bits.

You are kidding me! Aren't you? So easy great :D
Thank you

And yes that's intersinting for maps which are build with only props and no "ground" like Utapau and Kamino. Or something like a Tatooine which has a flat ground.

Also thank you for this :)
