Most of the reasons this map is taking so long is because I can't put the entire map together at once. Whenever I try that, I kill the game engine and end up in a lock up that I can only escape from 40% of the time without rebooting. If I didn't need to walk on eggshells, I could finish this map in less than a week.
So you mean that if you try to play the map as a whole, the game locks up and you need to reboot? Is all the stuff for your ships on the same layer, it could be crashing if the layer is overloaded.
been there, done that. I've found 1000 other reasons for the game to lock too.
EDIT: I've found a way to make a hero only vehicle. So Space heroes with their own special vehicles is a possibility.
a possibility, you should give some modders the process needed to go through to get the hero only vehicle, then they might make a millenium falcon, though i doubt it because that is a heck of a lot of work

well euh its a long time since i posted i think so i post here well i like the idea of the hero space ship. the millenium falcon would be a good start but what i like to see is a SLAVE 1 sorry bout the caps. this ship is so cool that i just want to fly with it.
As far as the Imp's hero/vehicle combo, if you're doing Wedge/Red 2, you should definately do Baron Fel/Scythe 2. The legendary Tie Interceptor pilot from the 181st (and, of course, his Tie Interceptor).
I'm curious. If you were standing in, say, the Mon Calamari Cruiser's command bridge on the interior, and the Imperials were able to destroy the bridge... what happens to all the people inside?
1. they just die
2. they get sucked out (considering the pages before this not very likely)
3. they just stand insude the destroyed bridge (because there is still some stuff left after it blows)
