These are things I've added since after version 5. They won't be in your current game.

Cool!

And just so everyone knows, there probably won't be any more releases until it's time for the finished product. The time between v4 and v5 was about two months. The only way I'd release another version is if another two months goes by and I find myself no where near being finished.

I am aiming for all SWBF1 maps (done) with assortments of game modes (not done) and at least 10 custom maps (5 or 6 ready right now) also with assorted game modes (not done)

I am considering making a few small eras and custom modes, such as a crazy-like mode where all weapons would be over powered and another mode that makes AI bots really hard to fight (they become 100% accurate)

I want to add more skin options in the fake console menu too, I don't have enough for CIS. When I get done with PSP mods, I am going to port everything over to the PS2 platform. The only difference between the two platforms is that the PS2 can support slightly better graphics so there shouldn't be too much of an issue to get that done.

Yes but beware the PS2 isn't easy to mod, in fact I've never done it. I don't even have a PS2 anymore or even a television. It requires too many resources that I don't feel like messing with. However I am still going to make the PS2 mods just for the few select people (if any) who want to try them out.

Why do you ask that? Is something happening with the current mods? The worst thing that can happen is the game will freeze if something doesn't work. You just have to remove your PSP battery and put it back in to restart. Tell me what's breaking and I'll see what's up on my end.

Excellent quality! I assuming you're recording from the emulator. Also good editing skill! (the text and stuff)
Anyway I have a few suggestions & requests and a few notes:

1) Try to get some good game play of each mod map (try to focus less on skin changers, it is okay if you change it a few times and move on)
2) Do a recording of the menu items so everything else can be seen (game modes, map names, option stuff, etc)
3) I noticed when you switched to the PC game play you sort of did comparisons, I like that! Can you do it for more of the stuff?

Tip: At about 7:41 when you entered the PC selection menu, I noticed you took some time to change characters. I have a small note that could save you a quick few seconds - When you go in the PC selection screen, you can press 1 - 6 on your keyboard numbers to instantly highlight a different character type (you can press 1 - 10 if you're playing a mod with max 10 classes) - This way you can just put your cursor on the spawn button and save some time while you make your choice with the numbers.

Going to work at the moment, won't be replying again until tomorrow probably.

I really dislike working with the space content. It's really buggy right now. I am considering just trashing all of them and making custom ones.

If your post is the last post and you want to post again, look for the edit button near the top of your latest post. I'll definitely see it. I check this thread several times a day, in fact I get Android notifications as soon as someone replies. At least once a week I'll run through the whole thread to see if anyone else edited their previous replies.

Hi there! I tried out your amazing mod and decided to leave a few things below for purposes.

Hardware-
PSP 2000 (Slim) PSP2005
F:6.61 PRO C2
-Bugs
-Save screen is NULL
-Control Settings is NULL
-Music is nonexistant throughout the whole game
-First 12 maps in instant action have no name.
-One of the 12 nameless maps will crash (Crashsite I'm guessing?)
-Utapau only works on GCW
-Utapau has graphical errors such as black spots.
-Felucia's ground will disappear and reappear
Tipoca City (Kamino) the water is replaced by land that you can land on
Kamino's water is nonexistant
Tipoca City walls are nonexistant
Death Star has graphical errors such as missing textures and cut through thin black lines
Kashyyyk only works on GCW
Playing maps in the ORIGINAL game and saving it and loading that same save in the MODDED game can cause fog conflictions. (Mustafar basicaly blinds you with red when you walk outside)
Does not list map name when loading some maps.
Again, Music is missing. Please bring Music. It's like lemonade without the sugar. Can't live without that epic music.
Corusant is having lighting errors.
Kamino has too high res of a texture on the railings causing the game to play worse.
Kamino is missing rain.
Mos Eisley Assault will completely crash when trying to run.
Game Voices are not heard as much as the PC and PS2 versions. (Trying playing 1 Flag CTF (Hoth) on the PC and then the modded PSP version for example. You'll see what I mean)
Naboo Plains' Tree leaves are completely nonexistant.
The starfighters in the modded game are completely silent.
Rhen Var is missing a proper description.
Polis Massa is not missing any textures, It's just that alot of it is gray and just gray, it looks raw.
Galactic Conquest completely fails to load back into the game when a ground match is finished
Loading a Space Assault map on Galactic Conquest will cause game to CRASH
Hitting triangle at the main menu will cause it to bring up a menu with unfinished descriptions of options.
Free for all mode is nameless
Campaign mode for Coruscant is no where to be seen
Anyway, Those are all the bugs I found, :D I seriously hope you finish this up because IT IS AWESOME!
Hopefully you find a way to fix these bugs, implement music and bring back the real campaign. I saw a video of someone doing the Kamino campaign "Changing of the Guard" (The one with evil clones and you play as Boba Fett)
Anyway, Good luck and May the Force be with you!

You're using the European version of the PSP SWBF2. Using the North American game will solve all issues regarding things not having proper names. It will fix the save/load screen, map names, etc. The control screen how ever will probably never be fixed - I cannot locate the source entries to match them up with a display message. If you find the North American version of the game, it'll have the ID of ULUS-10053. That's how you'll know you've got the American game.

About music - please read earlier posts. I've stated that I don't know anything about sounds in the game or how they work. They won't be fixed - at all - unless another modder can help me there. Ships and tanks not having sounds on maps, again that's a sound issue. I've got no idea how to fix them and even less of an idea on why they're broken.

Campaign is not in the current selection because most of them are not prepared. When I get them all fixed up I will then add them back.

Galactic Conquest is working fine for me as of right now.

Tipoca City - walls exist but they're just black. I just found the solution to that problem today and that will be fixed. I have several things throughout the game right now with solid black issue so I need some time to get to them all. About the water - I know about that but I forgot about it. I discovered that the PSP version of SWBF2 does not support a thing called OceanEnable (it makes the water really violent and wavy) - How ever I can still add regular flat water and I will do that at some point.

Felucia - I am aware of the ground disappearing and reappearing. That map was is very hard to work with and what's there is the current best I can do. Usually zooming your weapon in and out makes the terrain appear again. That can work in several maps.

Coruscant and Death Star - Just fixed those maps up yesterday. They'll good to go on the next release. Coruscant still lags but I did the best I could with it.

Naboo Plains - I saw the bad leafs too. I don't know what to do about that yet.

Polis Massa - I have not modified this in any way at all since I started this project. What's there is done by the original developers. I do plan on giving better window/glass textures.

Space maps - These are very hard to work with. They're unbelievably messy from the start, I don't understand how the original game devs got them to work. They're really really sloppy in my opinion - and I mean the design aspects, not how they actually play. I am really tempted to just blow them off and make custom space maps from scratch.

I also think you're using version 4 of the mods. Go to the original page one on this thread for version 5. Also make sure you switch over to the ULUS-10053 version to fix all of those various things not having proper texts.
