Sullust (water?!) and Fire FX
Just a few quick questions really:
1. What properties (and where can I edit them) should I give the water from Sullust (?!, I'm not sure what it is, buts it's deadly liquid), and what colour?
2. In Mustafar, sometimes large bursts of fire come out of the lava, is there any way I could make them come out of the ground (or come from objects), because I know they are in one version of Sraiden - Ash Forest, they come out of holes in the grounds, and out of the towers?
Thanks!

The FAQ is your friend for # 2, the Internet is your friend for # 1.
The FAQ, near the bottom, tells you how to attach an effect without using hardpoints. This includes a handy method, attaching it to a path node via LUA.

or you can just use myg_bldg_fire_effect or something like that it's a 1x1 cube with a hp that you can attach effects to (1x1=very teeny)

Isn't 1x1 in XSI one meter by one meter, which is not so tiny?

Thanks and sorry for not looking first. So I can put myg_fire_effect in through Zero Editor, and then attach the mustafar effect to it?

The Sraiden ones for the ground at least are not mustafar ones at all, mustafar ones are much bigger.
However yeah the little cube thing is useful it's what I used for that map.

Oh ok, Thanks for helping! I have 1 more question: In Mustafar, the embers float in the air in certain places. There's something similar in Hoth that stops the snow going inside buildings. Is there like a special Precipitation Region to put in Zero Editor so I can make it snow/floating embers in some places, but not in others?

Close, there's an anti-precipitation region. Called a rainshadow region. Add these regions indoors and it doesn't rain there. Search is your friend for any further questions.sampip wrote:Is there like a special Precipitation Region...

just a quick thing with rainshadows that usually trip up people who first use them
1 they can't be rotated
2 I believe they can't overlap

No, they can overlap and still be fine.
