Okay, whenever I run BF1 and it goes to the profile selection, the little thing at the top that says profiles or whatever has a white box around it. When I go to play maps it starts to show the preview and then the preview part turns black and the scroll bar disappears. Also, when I click things on the main menu and it does the transition, my cursor gets a white box around it too. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times and the error keeps on occuring. I have Best of PC if that makes a difference.

Update your video driver, I think.

I had this prblem, where everything was black or white. I update by video driver ro something andthen it worked

How do I do that?

go to the website of your graphics card manufacturer and download the newest driver(if ATI be sure to uninstall the old driver first!)

How do I find out which one I have?

goto: start > right klick on workstation then on properties, hardware then the first button on the top(something with manager) then search for graphics card and there should be something with ATI or NVIDIA. i dont know how you would find out, if 32 or 64 bit, but if you dont have a high end pc it should be 32 bit.

Workstation? I have an XP if you're talking about mac or vista. I don't have anything called "work station

dont know how its called in english, in german it "arbeitsplatz" which would be, if i translate it to english, "workstation". theres a icon in front of it which showes a screen with a computer near it.
