You're thinking of the TIE Crawler. The TIE Mauler has only been around since EAW. The TIE Crawler, on the other hand, has been around since Dark Empire was written.

Little texture update(and size is changed as well, but that might not really be noticable)
yes yes.. I know, the texture sucks, but it's fun enough driving with this one over loads of infantry!!!

The texture is too dark. Are the treads animated?

Yap, experimenting with the hue/saturation now.

No, I have a topic at the XSI section about that now.

I don't think the texture is to dark...what I would like to criticisize is that all parts are using the same texture in the same brightness. The body should be a bit darker than the cockpit, the jibs could be brighter again, while the hunches on them should be made visible by using an almost black texture.
That's just my 2 cents.

The only problem I see is that the texture blends with itself and you can't tell where one part starts and another ends (or vice versa.) Other than that, just keep on keepin' on

Where's the video?
This tank would make land battles so much more interesting! I like how you made the cockpit look translucent. Nice touch.

The only way Battlefront can get only better is if next-gen graphics and DMS are used!
Will the mauler have any weapons or will it just run over everyone?

Do you mean DMM?
All battlefront needs is higher memory caps.

I like it, except the texture. I really recommend spending more time on it. Without a good texture an object is worthless.
