"Heroes on Both Sides" basically showcases that not all of the Separatists are bad guys, which makes things like the Mon Calamari labor camps hard to swallow.

After watching the "Heroes on both sides" episode, i got the feeling that some of the separatist worlds weren't evil, but manipulated. Maybe they were dissatisfied with the Republic so when Dooku approached them and told them that the Senate is being controlled by a Sith, they believed him and logically, they follow him not knowing that they just traded one Sith for his apprentice.

[insert another agreement about #3.1 and #3.2 being better than #4.1]

I thought Padme was used ok. She was there during negotiations to observe, or participate, in the Quarren and Mon Cal working things out, which they didn't...

Well, looks like the CIS is winning 2 episodes in a row... want to see next week's.

Huh, it seemed both episodes were already on at StarWars.com, so I watched them. I thought they were pretty good.
Hidden/Spoiler:

I don't think Padme was in this episode to mainly appeal to kids. If that were the case, then why would they also put a ferocious shark guy in the same show? He was terrifying!

It was good to see the CIS win for once (or twice).

The Gungans were slaughtered even though the second episode was named after them.

The battle depicted seems to be a rehash of another battle. How will this be retconned?
No one's making you watch. If you are, try 911. They're usually pretty responsive to things like this.

Well, at least the next episode looks good. We might get a new plot line about the bad guys. The last three episodes were pretty cliche as far as the plot goes, but SWTCW is a kid's show.

Ok, this episode wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. I really liked actually seeing Dooku & Grevious again. I haven't seen Dooku duel in such a long time. That was like the only thing I enjoyed in the episode.

Strange things that I saw:
-Grievous hardly put up a fight against the over 9000 Gungans that were against him.
-Anakin's slipping. He's let himself get captured for two episodes in a row.

Other than that, it was an interesting episode. I liked the Anakin-Dooku/MagnaGuards fight.

I would have to agree with you. Anakin usually doesn't allow himself to get caught that easily. The duel itself was cool but talk about overkill. C'mon Dooku, that's not fair play. 4 MagnaGaurds & Dooku against Anakin?

It's a testament to Anakin's increasing power. Before, Dooku could have apprehended him single-handedly but now he was barely able to do it with the magnaguards. I suppose this is all build-up to their fight in Revenge of the Sith.

I concur. :plokoon:

It's really nice to see Anakin become more and more powerful. It really helps make what happens in Revenge of the Sith fall into place better. I liked seeing him bring down the sensor array in the Battle of Dac arc(it's Dac to me, even if the rest of the galaxy still calls it Mon Calimari).

I like the more recent episode, even if there were a lot of gungans. The plot moved very well, and there were less boring diplomatic dialog scenes. At one point it almost moved too fast, they could have done a whole entire EPISODE about the hostage exchange. We could have seen Grievous and Anakin attempt to break out of their separate prisons while Padme wrestles with the challenge of saving Anakin vs losing Grievous. But before I stray off topic, things are moving fairly well. I want to see a clone centered episode soon though, sometimes main characters like Anakin and Padme get boring. It's nice to see new characters develop.
