Sectors???
I found out that i had to add a sector to an object for you to be able to see through it, but so far it hasent worked for me. I read the documentation on it but it doesent directly tell you what you have to do. What I had done was placed the object, made a sector that completely surrounded the object, added the object to that sector. I tried that and it didnt work, so the I made a portal the covers the entire entrence and added that portal to the sector i made. I tried that and it didnt work either. Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Re: Sectors???
i think you misunderstood the whole portalsystem guide
in order to make an object see-through-able you need to give it transparency

Re: Sectors???
Sectors and portals are used so that only what needs to be rendered is rendered. A good example is the Jedi Temple. There sectors and portals 'turn off' any parts of the map a player couldn't see at any given time, increasing framerate.

Re: Sectors???
oh, i thought sectors and portals were for getting rid of all the terrain and other stuff out of the object, What i want is for a tunnel to be in a mound of dirt so that i can walk in and out of it?

Re: Sectors???
You want a terrain cutter. This is special geometry added to specific objects (it shows up as a purple wireframe in ZE). See the topics linked to in the search for those keywords.

Re: Sectors???
Maybe you should practice studying some of the basics of BF2 modding rather than attempting it head-on.
