CoD Modern? or CoD WWII?
Would you rather like to see more Call of Duty Modern Warfare or Call of Duty olden day warfare?
Explain your reason.
Personally I prefer olden day warfare cause i didnt think there was something special about modern warfare 2 cause I think its just like any other game, like Bad company 2.
Although there is a few olden day warfare games around like company of heroes but still, I like how cod works ...
Favourite cod game: Waw

Re: CoD Modern? or CoD WWII?
I'd prefer to see something new (as in a fresh, original idea).
Both modern warfare and WWI/WWII style war games are cool, but they become tiresome after a while. There aren't many First Person Shooter games set in the WWI/WWII time period being released nowadays simply because the idea was milked dry, the same will happen to modern warfare soon-ish.
They could try and make a gamble by going futuristic, just like the Battlefield series did with 2142 - sure it isn't the most popular game in the series, but at least it feels like something new (despite the use of cliché sci-fi stuff such as war-mechs, flying battleships and invisibility).
Come to think of it, this would be a good opportunity for them to be creative with weaponry and military technology of the near-future. In theory, it would be kinda like the fourth Ghost Recon, I guess.

CoD: Medieval Warfare.
Of course, unless it was the later Middle Ages the only weapon close to a "gun" would be a crossbow.

I'm a sucker for bolt-action rifles, so I'd have to say WWII. There's nothing more satirfying than headshotting an enemy and watching the bolt fly in slow motion.

I actually like the WW2 CoDs better, though the main reason I haven't bought MW is since I could tell the game was very overrated from the get-go, though I might just get it, if only for the British missions, which are pretty awesome. But the Russian missions in the WW2 CoDs are more awesome.

Agreed wholeheartedly. I love the mission Their Land, Their Blood. "See how things have changed, my friend? Now it is their land... their people... their blood." I'm a fan of ReznovPing wrote:But the Russian missions in the WW2 CoDs are more awesome.

Re: CoD Modern? or CoD WWII?
WW2 CoD games will always be the best to me since I was first introduced to the series by a friend with CoD1/UO. It also helps I picked up a sealed copy of CoD1/UO for 8$ at a swap meet a few days later. Nothing beats a Kar89k/Mosin N spree.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Future Warfare CoD (ala BF2142 or Ghost Recon FW).

MW2 wins due to customization and plot.
WaW wins due to Nazi Zombies and genre.

I like both WW2 and MW eras, still MW is my favorite.
How about some cold war scenario? Vietnam or some WW3 themed scenario set in late 80s around the whole globe.
Near future is also a nice setting, Crysis is a good example.
