Wikipedia stated that the story was non-canon too.
The giveaway is that Watto is alive in the EU well past that time. Doesn't mean Maul didn't survive in some way, though (after all, Vader managed to survive delimbing, being set on fire, causing extreme heat damage to his skin and lungs).
I'm just saying there was some sort of cliff hanger. Savage Opress will probably go on some sort of quest relating to Darth Maul. I actually kinda hope Maul's soul like takes over Savage Opress's. Or for Savage Opress to just die. I hate his name with a passion.

In case you weren't being sarcastic:
Asajj was betrayed by Dooku, and fled to her birthplace of Dathomir, where she was before she was taken and raised on Rattatak. Since then she has become an enemy of Dooku, so most likely Dooku sent Grievous out to find and kill her once and for all.[/Tom Kane Voice]
i know the "backstory" of that duel,it's just that i ever wondered how would it be that duel, since the only duel between ventress and grievous before this (the one in wich the winner would be the supreme commander,in wich durge was part too) was in a comic.

More Tarkin! YUSS.
For those of you who missed it, he was the one getting messed up by the clone at about 1:20-something. At first I thought it was 'Annie,' but then I noticed the iconic head shape was 100% Tarkin.
Hm, seems more like one of the creatures which suggest the Jedi to bow down a little more into the video, they have some kind of hornears which look exactly like Tarkin's haircut when they wear their helmets.
Cool! Three little rants though, Wulf and Star Wars the clone wars lovers, read at your own risk
Hidden/Spoiler:
Pic #1 NOOO!!! nooooo more padme!!!
Pic #2 NOOO!!! nooooo more ahsoka!!!
Pic #4, OOOKKAaay, that's a little to "Gulliver's travels" for me. Seriously, that's just too far.

#1: Padme I can sort of understand. Understand but not agree.
#2: I think I made my views on Ahsoka clear in the past, I'm just glad that the majority of fans do like her so I can laugh at all the haters.
#4: Weirder things have been done in star wars (and I'm not talking about the show).
*everyone stares at wulf*
What? You would be disappointed if I didn't say something.
Also, you may or may not share my opinion, but this is why I'm not a big fan of Filoni
