Borderlands 2
It's confirmed, announced, and more details in GameInformer and Gamescon and another convention.

I played the first. Had tons of fun. I'm very excited to see what they add in the sequel. I have it on steam if anyone wants to team up some time.
For those who don't know Borderlands, it's a single to coop FPS with a pretty good and relatively deep RPG aspect with lots of looting. Best played with friends.

Re: Borderlands 2
This and Chaos Theory are the two best co-op experiences I've had. Oh and L4D franchise.
Anyways, I was getting some what worried, but always knew it would be announced. I'm very glad they kept the art style and I want to know how they'll improve the co-op system.

*Ahem* I bet you'll never guess, but I'm really excited for this. I am kind of disappointed that it's a year out still, but it should still be absolutely fantastic. I can't wait for all the juicy info to be revealed over the next couple months/year.

Re: Borderlands 2
Short article on Kotaku of what was in the GI article on Broderlands 2.
Interesting about the first's characters being NPCs. The new people better be pretty awesome, but I loved how the first 4 played.Kotaku wrote:The game's GI tract says the characters from the original will return as NPCs; enemies will have better AI and interactions (a must after the first game), a weapons overhaul, customizable armaments, and a new currency and resource system

Re: Borderlands 2
i loved very thing in the game except the dog type mobs that just kept coming, like after 10,000,000,000 kills, just stay dead. lol. new models and new mobs would be so sweet. Maybe varying ai types not just, run at you screaming and flailing. ill def check it out just hoping the classes are more important to their roles, ie theives hide in shadows,,,rangers can range, i guess well see.
