Lets let a picture say 1,000 words I downloaded and installed the mod tools but I have that. I do not have battlefront 2 on my PC just yet. I did the recommended install setup. I am running windows 8. Help? This is on my laptop by the way.

Found the problem. It has the above screenshot in program files/lucasarts/star wars battlefront 2/mod tools, but if I go C:/bf2_modtools everything is there.

That's normal from what I see. I don't understand the problem. That's the shortcuts for your Start Menu.

The screenshot shows the mod tools located in C:\program files\lucasarts\starwars battlefront 2\bf2_modtools. That does not contain assets, etc. The file located in C:\bf2_modtools works just fine, has assets and all other related files. Solved my own topic in less that half hour.... i will try not to do this in the future. However this may be useful for someone who encounters a similar problem.

EDIT: Oh! thats a folder of shortcuts! My bad!
