Re: Adding Command Walkers
you have to put more parts in your lua than you would think though. put this in as well as loading it:
add those two lines and your all set (besides the sounds)

FAQ Thread wrote:Question - I have the CD version of SWBF2 and I get a binkw32.dll error when trying to launch the BF2_modtools.exe, what's wrong?
Answer - The BF2_modtools.exe is the debug executable, copy it from C:\BF2_ModTools and paste it in the same folder as your BattlefrontII.exe, usually:
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData
then you can launch BF2_modtools.exe and play your map then exit or let it crash to generate a BFront2.log located in that same folder.
If you have the DVD version check THIS LINK for a DVD version of BF2_modtools.exe
Note to Vista users:
If you can't find your BFront2.log it may be saved to this location:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData

Re: Adding Command Walkers
clarification: i meant are the cps there in the map in game or are they missing?
Second if they are there did you put any spawn paths down in Zero Editor?
if they are missing from the game i don't know maybe an error log would help me

Sure! Here is RVPc_con and RVPc_con.lua. The other one was a pain to hide. Sorry.

Re: Adding Command Walkers
In both LUA's, this line:
Should be two lines. Make each function on its own separate line.
Code: Select all
SetMemoryPoolSize("CommandWalker", 1)SetMemoryPoolSize("EntityCloth", 22)- SAMofBIA

Re: Adding Command Walkers
ok quick question, do you have 5 actual command posts, or are do you have 4 and the ATAT. cause your loading 5 in the luas, but if that fifth is the commandwalker, you dont have to.
