If it has it's own MODL chunk it's possible, if not then no it's not possible. You can get a shoulder pad/pauldron in Wazmol's asset pack 2Is it possible to add on certain things to units, such as shoulder pads to clone troopers, and shock trooper backpacks to clone snipers?
Possible... or not... Possible! That is the question.

You can make it possible to shoot in hangers if you remove the Lua code referencing landing regions I think

Yes. But then you can't land in the hangar, just lift off and shoot.=Pocmin= wrote:Is it possible to shoot insde hangars?

Not sure but I do know it hasn't been done before, no, no, no, yes, no, not without entirely new 1st person anims, and yes.

Correct if you take the code away. I prefer only to land in ships, but Pocmin can decide what he wants.

Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous mapping, or to take up arms against a sea of assets and by opposing, mod them.
Okay, so, yeah...

Technically, the answer is no, but you could potentially make it look like gravity has been altered by editing the jump values for every unit in its odf and also changing various variables stored in the grenade/mine odfs.Is it possible to alter the gravity?

1) Only through bad hacks
2) Cover every crashable area with a region. When a unit dies in that region and it was in a vehicle, force spawn them back 1/4 of the time
3) Don't know
4) First part yes, second part no.
5) All the object have gravity values...
6) What do you mean by "shoot inside"? Shooting into the hangers? Shooting while flying around inside the hanger? Both? Something else?
7) I'd say no on the attacking part and no on the self-moving, but you might be able to animate it or do some sort of teleporting.
8) Don't know
9) Yes
I added numbers to your post, because it was easier then trying to retype all your questions.

7) You can animate a turret, so as long as you made your prop a turret it could attack.[RDH]Zerted wrote:7) I'd say no on the attacking part and no on the self-moving, but you might be able to animate it or do some sort of teleporting.
8) Don't know
8) Anything with a .combo doesn't support 1st person.

Re: Possible... or not... Possible! That is the question.
3 ) No
4 ) Something ive been meaning to experiment with is a "grapple hook" type modification to the jetpack. Youd slow the rate of decent with the jetpack variables, and then a black line effect would shoot into the air. I dont know how well itd work though.
8 ) Possible, more or less yes. Easy, no. You could alter the vader model to have geometry in his helmet, then change the position of the follow camera to be inside the head.

Thing is though, sometime the head moves. The camera doesn't follow where your head is facing.Syth wrote:8 ) Possible, more or less yes. Easy, no. You could alter the vader model to have geometry in his helmet, then change the position of the follow camera to be inside the head.

This would require detailed camera work or new animations which would be hard just like Syth said.MasterSaitek009 wrote:Thing is though, sometime the head moves. i think the only way to edit the gravity is inside the sides, for they contain the physics o_O
though its a pain you gotta change all of em.
eg on dann's maps, slower fall time.

Because you can't have the camera move with the head.
You can only have the camera be in one spot relative to the unit the whole time.

Jump time, fall time, speed, etc.
