I'm in a pickle (Everything inside Worlds folder is gone)
The pickles strike back.
But on a serious note, I manually cleaned, and suddenly, everything inside my Worlds folder is GONE. Everything else is alright. I know for a fact that I did not delete anything inside of there. I even checked my recycle bin.
So I'm just wondering if anyone knows where it went. (Or if I could somehow undo this)

Are your mod tools/data files stored on an external hard drive? If so, try unplugging it from your computer and then plugging it back in again. If not, please provide from details.

No, they used to be. They're still there, but I don't use them.
Here's what I did(from memory):
I went into my _BUILD folder and navigated to Worlds/GAA. From there I deleted the munged folder. Then I went into _BUILD/Sides and deleted the munged folder from CIS, Common, GAM, GEO, and IMP. From there I went to _LVL_PC and deleted everything. Then I went to the fun place (\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon) and deleted the GAA folder. Then I opened up my munger, hit clean, and then hit munge. In the Worlds tab GAA was still there at this time. I then played SWBF2 and there were no CPs or anything. I opened up my munger and saw that there was no world to be munged and then I checked inside the Worlds folder and found out that everything was gone.

Check if the files are hidden.

Nope; I always have show hidden files and folders on.
Unless you mean search everything, which in that case I have.

Hmm, try Googling the problem. Try searching for something like "windows-- WAIT a minute, aren't you using Windows 8?
I have a feeling that may be part of the problem.

Re: I'm in a pickle (Everything inside Worlds folder is gone
I discovered that SWBF2 runs mods from the addon folder where the exe is located and
AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon.
Windows 8 puts munged stuff in there and I put downloaded mods in here(where the exe is):
C:\Program Files (x86)\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon.
Now I'm pretty sure I've done a manual clean before on this computer, but not 100%.

Running VM as an administrator usually takes care of that issue, at least on Vista/7.

I did a google search on VM, and I came up with this.
VM is virtual machine, and is used to run multiple operating systems. I found one here, but I'm not sure what you're telling me to do with it.

Re: I'm in a pickle (Everything inside Worlds folder is gone
Oh, sure I can try that.
EDIT: Tried it, VM told me this:
No surprises though; I've seen it on other mods when I delete stuff from the worlds folder.
EDIT: Tried it, VM told me this:
Code: Select all
"
"Error (Invalid Parameter): I
"
"Usage: munge [PC|PS2|XBOX] [<world1> <world2> ...]
