mmm, i did like star by star (despite a certain main character's dying), and i guess the author must have done something right, but i think it mostly has to do with the plot. its nice and long too, always good when you're bored. my fav star wars author would have to be timothy zahn, tho (which is one of the main reasons i'm so excited about OFP) (although there's only one i don't much care for - michael stackpole, just something about his writing style bothers me...)
anyways, congratz on the reading accomplishments.

and actually, for the skips, i think yours looks more bom berish - it looks a little bigger and bulkier, whereas the ones in that pic look streamlined for dogfighting. menacing too :twisted:

Is that pic of the Jubille (sp?) Wheel, Han running from skips, and the thing that sucked up Roa?

and while we are on the topic of skips these that I posted earlier would make a better "scout" fighter and maybe those ^^^^ could be the "starfighter"

oh, lol, i just noticed the shuttle. yeah, thats what i figured it was.

those seem more or less the same as the pic you posted above, except for the colors and slight differences at the nose. to me, anyways. besides, who wants to be a scout fighter anyways? its a fighting game, not a flying game

What I meant by scout was the current tie interceptor, droid tri fighter etc. I guess I should have used the word "interceptor"

ooo cool, very nice, very nice, but is there a way to get rid of the wireframe? the side lavacannons (i assume thats what they are) seem to stick out a little too far, imo. also, the "main" part of it seems a little too spherical. but aside from the sphericalness of the body, the side view especially looks amazing!
did you base it off of any particular picture?

and raingod, you still here? done any more work, or have you been busy with school?

oh, and trans, theres a particular ship i had in mind for the interceptor. its the slayer's skips, but they're only in the last book, so...yeah...read faster

Uhmm. The wireframe is only a view. I did that so oyu would see the edges, and yes, i did base it on not one, but 4 different pictures

I will make the thing less spherical, but i wont change the little plasma cannons at the sides, i like them that way

Edit: I'm trying to post a pic of the "updated" version but print screen doesnt work

ok, cool, yeah, thats what i figured about the wireframes, but i'd still like to see how it looks without them. they're sorta distracting to the overall look of it. i'm glad you put it up, but yeah, could you post a pic without it?

It kinda reminds me of the coralskipper that Majin Revan made but this one looks less smooth Good Job

Thats a good start Trans, anyway sorry for not doing anything lately been extremly busy with college work and not to sure when i will be able to get back to work on the mod models. I recommend that you look for another modellers, cause i don't know when my work load will lighten up. Anyway heres a wip of what's been taking all my time, and now i have to finish this model by monday morning along with a animation of it crashing and getting wretch.
