UV Question [solved]
I have a question on the shield shaped island in the lower right. How can I "cut it in half" to make it symmetrical? I wan to do that so I can Island Heal it to the main island at the top. Thanks.

Re: UV Question
Click the T button here:

Then manually select the polys in one of the 3D viewports, and move them away from the rest of the UV cluster in the UV editor window.

Re: UV Question
Perhaps I should have said Fold it in half. Will tearing it make it symmetrical down the horizontal axis?

Re: UV Question
In that case, do what I said, and then select "Mirror Vertical" or whatever in the Tools menu of the UV editor window. Then, holding the Ctrl key to toggle snapping, and with the UV cluster still selected, drag the cluster from one of its corner points to the other cluster's matching point.
(If Mirror Vertical doesn't do it then Flip Vertical is what you want. I always forget, lol.)

Re: UV Question
Thanks that worked
. Some points are slightly misaligned. Is there a tool I can use to make it perfectly aligned? I tink Match does this.. but I get weird results using it
EDIT: I just held ctrl while i selected the individual vertices. Works well enough!
