Did you like the fact that the stock BF2 map "Naboo" took place at night?

It made the map a heck of alot better!

Naboo: Theed

Hey GT!

Here is yet another one of my W.I.P. maps. This one I think I did a very good job on. The map is called Theed, which is a edited version of the stock map "Naboo." Alot of changes have been made to this map.

Added things:
-More props, such as crates
-Extra turrets added (Particle Cannon and one extra Laser Turret)
-Changed time of day from night to sunset
-Bespin: Platforms sky used
-Custom sides
-"The Queen of Naboo" is now the hero for the Rebels
-1-Flag CTF added

Removed things:
-Vertex Lighting for nab2_bldg_canal_home.odf
-Extra lights for the street lights

Modes:
-Conquest
-2-Flag CTF
-1-Flag CTF
-Hunt

Heroes:
Republic: Obi-Wan Kenobi
CIS: Darth Maul
Empire: The Emperor
Rebels: The Queen of Naboo

Stuff Yet To Be Added:
-Naboo Guards as the locals
-Changed water .tga's
-Completed Custom Sides
-New Imperial Officer

This thread would be POINTLESS without screenshots!

Ugh...I copied that part from the Bespin: Platforms sky file and when you are far away, the objects are black. :x :( :x

Put this in your sky file, it's my secret weapon. Should sort out the problem :wink:

Looks nice but I can't really tell the difference between this and the stock version of Naboo besides the sky & water change.

No, I think i'll keep the Jet Trooper, and about the palace, I tried extending to the palace entrance, but there were these weird, invisible barriers that made a HUGE problem. :x

Ok speaking of the palace, I finally deleted the weird collision barriers and added a CP at the palace entrance. I am also working on a newer hunt mode.

This looks really good, but i was just wondering if you fixed the stupid planning error on naboo where the ai run down a random hallway and run into a wall, i think you know what i mean?

I added a barrier in the alley, but i'm not sure if it workse yet. :|
