I'm pre-ordering the game Tabula Rasa and planning on setting up a GT clan for the game. This game looks awsome! Not only that, it is from Richard Garriott so you know gameplay should be good.

Off Topic: I just realized you joined last year on my B-day. :P

I'm impressed with the game concept so far. Now I just need to get into the beta to actually see gameplay.

I didn't see(look for :P ) a release date on the site. When does the Beta start and when is it coming out?

Beta is already happening, in fact I'm downloading the client now that I got from pre-order. Fileplanet has it up til aug 18 for its members to get a key. It is supposed to be released on September 25, 2007 according to Amazon.com. As far as singleplayer, probably not. Only MMORPG I've seen with a single player was Ultima Online (waaaay back in the day), and that was limited to training how to use the interface.

For thosethat get into the beta test, the download for the installer is 2273.39mb (joy) with an average of 145 K/s down (even more joy) Going to be up for about three hours. (and I thought broadband was supposed to reduce this :P)

Watch out for PlayNC, they are known for stealing peoples accounts and credit card info from Guild Wars (those staff were fired however, but still good to be cautious now when dealing with them)

Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep an eye out for my account. I had my account for years, but then again, I wasn't registered for guild wars nor was my account info up to date so that may have saved my [my bologna has a first name, it's OSCAR...].

edit: According to Gamespot as of july 13th, it is supposed to be released October 2007. Not sure what to believe. I haven't seen a release date on the site. (I too haven't really been looking :P)

Well, did a BT today and it's not bad. has quite a few quirks in it though and I can't seem to register on the beta forums to see if they've been reported or not.

For anyone who needs to know:

American Beta Server Times-
Tuesday and Thursday, 5:00pm-2:00am CST
Friday 5:00pm-Monday 2:00am CST

European Beta Server Times-
Monday and Wednesday, 5:00pm-2:00am BST
Friday 5:00pm-Monday 2:00am BST

(There just might be a pattern here. :P Had to find these out from another source because the only place it tells you to look is on the beta forums, which you can't register on because of a known error. Frustrating.)

Anyways, Here's what I know (need to read that non-disclosure thingy better so I'm going to just tell buggs)
There are a few graphical bugs here and there, especially in the beginning (looks like a few areas have some major model probs at the beginning). Sometimes enemies are visible and walking in place, but are actually dead. Seen one die upside down on its head (I wish I had reinstalled fraps just so you could see that one :P). The clan registrar is not active, so I haven't been able to see how the clan function works. You can't seem to dodge attacks either. No matter where I ran sometimes, I still got hit. They seem to have a lot of work to do, but it is fun (keeping in mind it is a beta). I have to run it on low graphics, so graphics are not so impressive, but you can customize your character. The choices are limited though so the likeliness of someone looking the same is high. I'll read the non-disclosure to see if I can go any further.

update: Welp, got my first major bug. I got stuck in a wall. :P I was worried for a while cause where I got stuck, there was very little chance for me to die and respawn. After figuring out / brought up a console, I researched a little. Apparently TR is using elements of the City of Heroes engine. I typed in /stuck and viola, teleported to the nearest base. Thank god. I'm now at level 6 and chose the soldier path on tier 2. So far just doing missions. Seems very easy. I'm using the logos more often after finding out that they are more powerful than weapons at the moment (some weapons are level and skill restricted, so I can't use 'em) and ammo is unlimited until I get killed. Every time you kill an enemy, you gain adrenaline that fuels the logos. so you use logos to kill, it fills it right back up. Taking a break from the game to sleep. Server is shutting down Monday at 2:00 am.
