Play Twilight Princess, it's just as good as Mario Galaxy.Maveritchell wrote:Agreed ++. Not good. At least it'll give me a little more time to work on some of my other Wii games, which I rarely get around to. I've still got to beat Harry Potter (warning: do not buy, tremendously tedious) and I've got an unopened Twilight Princess I'm thinking about exchanging for Mario Galaxy.

I'm sure it is, but I figure Galaxy is going to be a better game for me to pick up and play in small increments. I've played Galaxy and I know that I can play for just about 10-15 minutes at a time whereas past experience with Zelda games has taught me that sometimes they require a much more significant time commitment. (Not that one game's necessarily longer than the other, although I believe Zelda is. It's just that I don't want to get caught up in having to play a couple hours at a time to beat a dungeon.)

Dang. Something is fishy about that delay. But I'm still happy it's on a Sunday.
Strange thing is Japan only got their delayed by 7 days. Ours is 14 days. Something is not right. Unless they're delaying it so it can launch next to the WiiWare.

I was going to tell you to keep Twilight Princess but after reading that I'd recommend that you switch it with Mario Galaxy, unless you really enjoy Zelda games and plan on finishing it sometime in the future. I got Galaxy for Christmas and I'm playing it one bit at a time. There isn't much continuity to it -- you can just pick it up whenever and continue on from where you were last time so it sounds ideal for your situation. I don't like to play video games for hours at a time either so I understand what you're saying.
Oh, and...

Since there's now a new row of veterans with three open spaces who do you guys predict will take the spots? My predictions are Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, and Luigi or Jigglypuff. Or maybe both Jigglypuff and Luigi will have spots and Ganondorf will be unlockable. Hm...

That's only the websites layout, and technically sheik isn't a new challenger.EraOfDesann wrote:Since there's now a new row of veterans with three open spaces who do you guys predict will take the spots? DO WANT Ganondorf though. Maybe he'll have his sage sword this time
Luigi'd be cool too, but how'd he be made different from Mario? Maybe they'll make Luigi's Mansions Luigi hehe.
And if both Ganondorf and good old Falcon are in, one of them'll need a new moveset too...

Ganondorf v/ C.Falcon moveset:
Is there really a question here? Of course Cappy's keeping his moveset; the moves figuratively scream "Captain Falcon." Or, literally, "Falcon!" Ganondorf was the clone, he came second, his moves didn't pertain to him, and he has a huge potential for new movesets. Of course his is the moveset that'll be changed.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
When did I say that? All I said was that Zelda's Down B wasn't called Twilight Change, and I was right wasn't I?And just last page Rekubot was saying that Zelda wouldn't be able to turn into Sheik.
Besides, Sheik was my main, and many others, for years. They're not going to get rid of a character that popular.

That has to be my favourite screenshot of Brawl so far. It looks like she blew up the bridge!
On another note, three new videos have been released. One is a How To Play (five minutes of sweetness!), and the other two are short Japanese advertisements.
How to Play - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wt3tf4yVMf0
Advertisement 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKYL1_yl0Ro
Advertisement 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMCV2JHlBCo
Well, look on the bright side. At least you have a release date.Era wrote:
As for Ganondorf, Eiji Aonuma has already confirmed he'll be in in some shape or form. My guess is a character with his Twilight Sword to form the basis of his moveset.
Captain Falcon is definitely in. If you watch the How to Play video you can see the red alloy use all of Falcon's traditional moves, including the Knee. To further prove this, the Melee male wireframes were based off Falcon as well.
There's no way they're taking Luigi out (it's called Smash Bros. for a reason!), and since they changed Mario slightly they're bound to change Luigi as well.
Also, all special moves have been added to the character's separate pages. Olimar's final smash is called End of Day, though I don't know what it means. Didn't Pikmin have a set time limit? I think that was the reason I never bought it; I like to take my time through most games.

I'm fairly certain that the three new open spots will be filled by the time the game is released. They've filled all of the open spots thus far so why not these ones? I'm 99.9% sure that Falcon will be a starter. Plus I'm going on a wild guess by saying that whoever runs the site would most likely prefer the character page to be symmetrical and evened out.

Found this video on my search for Brawl info. Shows the possible Ice Climber final smash, the training video, and custom stages. Even better, it's recent, as it has the new release date.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Interesting and long update today. I'm just happy it's only effective in the single-player story and not online and in multiplayer.
