As the main part of the contest is over, I'm posting my map here so that it will be found easier by people. The same post is still in it's original place, though. YankFan might still put up the poll when two, maybe three more maps are submitted, though it will be just for fun. So look for the poll to come up. Here is the post from the contest thread.
The Arc Elite is the most powerful unit on the republic side, so use him.
Battle of Geonosis; 125th

This is my first map. A quick note about this map. The Hunt and XL modes do not work, instead you play Assault for hunt and GCW Conquest for xl. CW conquest does work, forget what the readme says. AI should be set to elite to get the best out of it, and visual settings should be set low.
The war is on for the fate of the Republic! Fight as the 125th Legion with the Jedi and the 501st to back you up.

Wow, thats an awsome geonosis map ever shtr, but Im having troubles with the ramdom crashes :x .Looks cool

BTW,I never seen a new Vehicle I dont remeber what was called,I say ur the first modder who ever put that new Vehicle in modding :D

Thanks. It's called the Command Shuttle. Also have the SPHA-t in as well. Takes two to five minutes to spawn in at cp7.
The crashes should only be in conquest mode. Plus, you need to turn down the visual values, or it will crash for sure about ten minutes into the battle, if not sooner. This happens in a lot of maps, the capital strike ones for example.

Thanks guys! There will be another version coming out as soon as I can get the dwarf spiders and geofighters working properly.

Those explosions you see in the first and last pics are a weapon of my own creation. The Seismic Charge, one of the most powerful secondary weapons in the map. I should have given him only one, for the reason that unless you can get away fast, it should only be used as a kamakazee weapon, because you'll kill yourself and anyone or anything within a 30 area radius of whatever the measurements are in bf. The effect is an unused one, called the seismiccharge.fx in common/effects. Not the side common, but the other one. I only modified it to get something that suited a little better. If you use the orbital strike droid, you wil see another unused effect in bf2, the droppoint.fx. Be every unit, try them all out. Each one has at least one weapon that has a neat effect, so try out everyone and every weapon to find all of them. Find out which weapons can be charged up, there are at least three weapons that can be charged.
