Looking for a model - Solved!

Post by everob »

I can't seem to find in any of the worlds a type of floor, I've tried using other objects, but for the map I'm trying to make, there would be almost thousands of the smaller objects, and the map would take 5 minutes to load alone, and people just don't like waiting that long.

So I'm wondering if anyone could possibly make me a floor model, with the MSH, TGA, and ODF files included. I've tried to make one myself, but can never seem to quite make it work. The type of floor I'm looking for would be a solid object, so I could make a second and third story. In zeroediter, if possible, I'd love if it was about 10x10 tiles, considering that's what most of my buildings are made up of, squares and rectangles :D.

Thanks to anyone that is willing to make this..

What's wrong with using the terrain? It's basically a huge floor that you can change up, mold, etc. however you wish. If you have any additional requests now or in the future, please post them in the All-Purpose Request Thread. Also, please don't include a signature at the end of your posts, it is against the Site Rules. I see that you are new, so welcome to Gametoast. :)

Well, the issue is that what I'm making has 3 different floors, and it's an indoor to outdoor map, which would be an issue overall if I raise the terrain for the floor.

Thank you for telling me that rule - I skimmed through them, must have missed it.

do you know that ai-paths only work twodimensional? that means all three sories would have to look the same if you dont want the ai to run against objects.

Or you could have them "stacked" or tiered, like that Spiral Stair map a while ago and some of Mav's work.

The type of map I'm making will be used online for the most part, it's a clan map, therefore bots won't be used often.

EDIT
I found out how to make a wall into a type of floor :D
Pushing X rotates it after placing, I didn't know that beforehand :)
