I'm pretty good at sketchup and could make props and buildings. I just e-mailed my friend asking if he could email me and of his sketchup models.

hi this is my first post on this site, i say this forum and it made me want to create a tunnel/hallway type map with sketchup.
ill put pics up soon.
now that i think of it, my some of the components probly have 2 many curves.
ill still put it up.

Are you going to get any of this in game? Or are you just trying to make models with SU solely for art purposes? Either way, they are very impressive.

Hopefully, I may eventually get these ingame, but even if I don't I will still keep them for art purposes and for anyone who might wish to use them.

I think you should learn how to use a real 3D modeling program, you have too much talent to be using it all on sketchup, the hardest possible program to get models ingame, also a program not designed for game modeling, but for architectural modeling. If you learned something like Blender or XSI,you could make much more detailed models and have no trouble getting them ingame.

xsi is actually pretty straightforward, the countless tools and options look confusing at first, but you wont need most of them for polygonal modeling
