you should go for a whole fleet of 'em man. Capital ship could be a giant shopping cart :lol:

and Fai222, what i suggest is just playing around with the mod tools to get a general feel for them. Then layout a simple object, like a table, and try modeling it. My best teacher yet has been experimenting with different functions. If you have a specific question, the Search ability here can be very helpful

Complicated models beware, the box army. LOLzorz, can't yet. Still need to install XSI. But the shopping carts would be the tanks. Duh. :roll: Although, I'd need to get a scrolling texture and make the wheels seem like they're *coughliterallycough* covered in crap.
EDIT: D/L complete for XSI in 15 minutes, then an hour or so install.

Dude can I make the shopping cart? I'm 75% done my model of it, Just gotta add the textures and wheels.

Okay. Well I have to edit a bit on the bottom to get the "under carriage" to look nicer.
Currently 3160 polygon with only a tiny bit of polyfiltering so I'll do more polyfiltering later. Imageshack and Picoodle are being evil and wont upload so I'll edit this with trolley pics later.

3160??? Itd be easier to just hexedit transparency for the holes!

Very nice IG-Lancer, Im guessing that you bumpmapped the torso texture. So is the Lancer Speeder Bike in the works too?

Andeweget: Scale it down by about 1/3-1/2 then it should be proportioned correctly. Your skin is pretty good already because it makes the gun recognizable and looks like how it should. All you need to do is add a bit more detail to it and give it a "slightly used" appearance with minor dirt and burn marks around the edge of the barrel.

Here's a part of a project I just started working on. Gonna model everything first then go through and texture it all.

the texture isnt bumpmaped i think, it looks like the shipped ig88-torso to me
@ANDEWEGET:add some dirtbrushes to make it more used-looking

@VF501 Totally right.. I'm working on Muunilist now, got everything done except the Swoops.. I'll brb in this topic with a new 'invention'.. :)

I was hoping to start a halo map/mappack, but if you have one going already, maybe we could combine our stuff? I already have a few models going, if you'd like to save some time.
