where can i find a good modtool?
i want to get into modding but where can i find a good modtool i googled it and there stood download zeroeditor x y, dont download zeroeditor x y im so confused

You're welcome, Darth_Killius. If you want to create and get Player / Weapon / Vehicle-Models in-game, you have to get the Foundation Version of XSI, it costs about 500 American Dollars. If you want to try it for free, download the Trial-version of it at this link. If you want to modify the existing textures in Star Wars : Battlefront II, you need Adobe Photoshop or the GNU Image Manipulation Program...

when Linus said you could create your own costum stuffs like weapons etc. it means that YOU have to model everything and do all the job yourself. If you haven't tried it before I suggest you to simply try the free version of XSI called 'XSI Mod Tools'.
What the SWB2 Mod Tools do, is more or less to make an additional map, which you can take some certain costum made files out and release as a mod
