OK calm down and change the topic title. You know how to place CPs in Zero right? Or do you not know anything about it at all?

First of all the documents give a perfectly good description on how to do it. very Straight forward. What part exactly do you not understand, because the docs are very understandable. But really, try to understand it, that was my problem when i started out, i didn't try to understand it.

Fun fact: If you don't read the documents, you can't learn how to mod. They frustrate many at first, I'm sure, but you've got to suck it up and just learn.

Look at the command posts you have on the default map. See what parts they have. (Spawn nodes, control & capture regions, and cp object) Then see how they're referenced in the .lua. The best way to learn is by playing around with what you have. Bottom line, though - you need to read the documents. Read them. Make mistakes. Learn.

new commandpost in 7 steps:

1. :
Penguin wrote:you have to open the map once you open ZE, press load then navigate to your worlds ModID.wld file
2. : go to "objekts"/place and hit the browsebutton
now go to data_ModID/Common/odfs and load com _bldg_controlzone
place it where you want and call it cp5 (label).

3. : now go to "region"/new region/cylinder and place it near the commandpost, and call the region "spawnr5"

4. : go to "path"/new path and place it near the commandpost, call it "spawnp5"

5. : go back to "objekts"/select, select the commandpost and type in the capture/- and controlregion "spawnr5"
als type in the spawn/- turret/- and allypath "spawnp5"

6. : set the radius to 10.0

7. :save and munge your world and BAMM you have 5 commandposts

PS: to edit the basic commandposts load your world select the conquest layer end edit them ( you must also edit the paths and regions)
