Photoshop costs what, $200-$300? I don't even skin that much for it to be worth it. Paint Shop Pro 5 can do a lot of what Photoshop does, and I've had a lot more use out of it.

And, by the way, Photoshop Elements 4.0 (all you should need) costs about $100...you might even be able to get version 2.0 for a really low price. It's what I have, and it works just fine.
