Im thinkin of doin a side map for when IH comes out ... Basically a space map using the hangar i have allready made .
The thing is I have setup a few hangars dotted around at different heights ....but i need to be able to raise (and lower) the BARRIERS .
This is important as at the moment the bots either smack into the asteroids on the way to the hangar or if they fluke it past the asteroids they smash into the cap ships .
Any ideas,tricks etc???

Barriers doesn´t have any heights or better the height is unlimited.

hmmmm i dont get it .
theres a height option next to the alpha option ........however it always stays at 50 ....even if you change it , when u reload ZE it resets to 50 .
If the barriers height is unlimited how did would bespin cloud city be possible?

They used a nice trick on cloud city.

Get it? Al ships will fly nearly above the buildings
Jabba is a good example of well done plannings and barriers. Keep in mind that destinations shouldn´t overlap or cross each other.
And yes you can change the height settings. This is a visual help only to set barriers to correct locations if your walkways are a somewhat higher than ground (i used it when i worked at wookieeland)

hmmm i think you mean bespin platforms.
What im talkin about in particular is the high walkways in Cloud City (the one with no vehicles) . sure they could raise the height option but the the bots wouldnt be able to walk under the walkways ...which they do ...im sure.
Is it possible to view the jabba plans and barriers etc?

Sorry, yes i was talkin about Platforms. But it doesn´t matter. You make your planning and barrier layout on the ground and use the height for visual help only.
Below you see the planning and the barriers from CloudCity and you will notice that the connections don´t overlap or cross each other.
Pandemic did a very good job here.


I don´t have screenies from Jabba but they layout structure will be the same.
