Originally dates back to the days of WarCraft, when a map designer mispelled "Own" as "Pwn". What was originally supose to be "player has been owned." was "player has been pwned".

Pwn eventually grew from there and is now used throughout the online world, especially in online games.

wow 10th place as a player in the event is just PHAT! nice job reb!!!! and gratz to everyone for we are in 6th place , held our position and made more friends along the way! Alot of us were B.U.R.N. victims but what are you gonna do? hehe. 20 days to BW9!!! remember the secret map will be reused with its updated imp/cis patch so use that since it will earn some extra loot!

After a dip in activity in Battleweek 7 where 689 games were posted, BattleWeek 8 shot right back up by having 831 games posted from 17 signed up clubs and 151 players participating. The event saw B.U.R.N. jump out to and early lead, clearly they were hungry to grab the top spot. TAW fought to catch B.U.R.N. but was unable to achieve this in the end. DS returned to the scene and grabbed third place. [GT] finished 4th and look to climb higher and -- finished 5th after a record-shattering number of games from AdmiralThrawn!

The player ratings finished out with a variety of players from different clubs mixing up the top 10. AdmiralThrawn broke the existing record of games played by an individual by participating in 165 games! That's an average of over 20 a day!

Battleweek 9 is scheduled July 15-22nd. As we added the new Bonus Map feature in Battleweek 8, we will continue to have add this in BW9 due to the popular reception it received, however, we will review maps for this feature to a further extent.

awesomely sick job of pwnage doom in BW8!! [GT] roxxor!!!!

i think a [GT] Medal Of Honor Or MVP should go to Rebel_scum, seriously guys, 10th place in bw8? out of like 151 guyz? that totally blew me away. and i know it contributed to our fourth place finish immensely.

so im here to offer my congratulations to reb, who went blasting through lag and latency spikes on his 950Mhz processor to pwn all of us and help secure our 4th place finish and pick up a 10th overall player spot as well. YOU ROXXOR DUDE!!!!!!




anyway, as youv prob noticed, i havent showed my face at gametoast for quite awhile, and this is primarly due to how utterly chaotic and busy my life has been (if any of you hav graduated from high school you know what i mean!). and as we all know, real life takes precedent over other stuff, so consequently i havnt done any modding or anything, but i still try to make an effort to at least get some playing in during the Battleweeks to help the team out. go GT!!


anyways, so thats my story, or the short version at least... lol
so depending on what happens in the coming months, i probobly wil not be able to return to gametoast often, if at all. although i will still try to participate in Battleweeks. i will stil try to be around if i can or on xfire, so dont forget me entirely!

i realize that i hav left a few of my projects unfinished, but hey what can ya do? oh well, maybe one day il finish them lol
and although i still love modding, other things are more important.


i hav to say though, being part of the gametoast team has been extremely informative and helpful, and piles of fun at the same time, and iv enjoyed it thouroghly.

so thanx to Guru for his uber site, and everybody else for making the modding/[GT] clan totally awesome to be a part of!! gtpwn
