{HELP} How to make an installer

Post by jdee/barc »

I am making another mod for SWBF1 that fuctions kind of like the BF2 conversion pack.
It retains your original sides but also installs new sides and worlds in a different folder. The worlds are playble through addon maps. That way the game wil still allow multiplayer compatibility.

The Convo pack, and BFX mod had an installer that installed things to where they should go. How do I make such an installer?

I believe they used professional installshield programs, which means you'd have to purchase one.

There are a lot of free installers on the web: NSIS, PackJacket, GhostInstaller, etc.

@ ggctuk: No, ConvoPack and BFX use InnoSetup (free).
