Better?
Gogie wrote:[on-topic]: Are you going to be making new skins for the rebel unit aswell?
Hopefully. The new units will have new skins for sure.
I was actually just kidding about the avatar thingy lol

WOW Awesome Darth Maul you got there like on Tatooine :D If you wish you can use my Qui-Gon Jinn on the other side as hero, but only if you want too. I agree with Razgriz, if you have photoshop don't try to use Brush all the time it will make the skin look kinda paintish you should try other tools as well

Hell, the terrain is awesome. The Kotor Series couldn't have done any better. The skins are kinda simple but good.
Just wondering how gameplay will turn out.

Ooh, new secret feature! Yay! Does it involve continental breakfasts, TSO, or squid? Yes, I know that was stupid. I felt like saying something stupid today.

I apologize again for my lack of updating. I've been busy with school, and my Utapau map I am making for the GT map pack. Anyways, I have sharpened up the skins a bit, and I am working on adding a objective mode. If all goes well, there will be two seperate objective modes, one for each era. I'll get some new screenshots up as soon as I get my game reinstalled. (It was having problems.)

You're sure you want these objective modes? They're a lot of work, and crash rather often. I'd prefer to have a release version first, and tinker on the objective modes later.

Sure. I'll do that then.

I don't think it will be much longer before I release version 1.0. (or a public beta, whatever) First, I've got to finish up a couple units, add a couple more customized combos, and make a few minor changes to the map and gameplay, send out a beta to the testers in {RA}, and fix any bugs they find.

EDIT: I've got a character ingame with two backwards held lightsabers and a really sweet combo. (Still working on the dash attack) I'll get pics up soon and a video. (Maybe). Hooded Darth Maul also has a new combo. More in progress.

Need some input here....

1. Should I make new skins for the Stormtroopers?
2. Should I keep the modes as they are? Or take out something? Or how about some cross era battles?
3. Who should the GCW heroes be? How about the Rebel with the vibroblade for Rebel hero? (with a reskin, of course)

By the way, here's a picture: (already posted in Glamour Shots)

looks pretty cool, maybe the scenery's a tad bland but i could spruce that up with a couple models if you want. :D

Whipped this up in about an hour, just a little semi circular fort. The tex is only a pre tex so dont judge it on that i know it doesnt go with your lake setting. Im planning on adding a buncha entrances and ramps and stuff.

Keep in mind this is a pre-model i can still change pretty much everything about this if you dont like it. I just made this for fun so if you dont want it no worries :D

Same scale as all the other models? 2 squares make the height of a trooper, right?

So, then I like the idea of the tunnel right in the fort, and the texture isn't bad either.
On the other hand, I'd like to suggest two little changes: some loopholes, and some texture variety, achieved by changing the texture on the "outer" side.

So how big is this model? The map right now is default size, so I don't want something too big.

Another thing, is there a set of stairs to connect the top and bottom floors?

I can make it Bigger/smaller to suit your prefs if you want it.
And yes there will be two ramps going up to the second floor, maybe more. If you really wanna see how it fits in your map i can slap a pre tex on there and send it to you tonight.
More screenies coming later :D

If you're looking for a sense of scale that highlighted block in the first pic is approx the size of a trooper.
