Re: Dann's ODFs For Dummies Guide
Just one thing caught my eye. I see you mention the child odf overrides the parent's classlabel in rare cases. As far as I know, the child odf overrides anything from the parent odf. So, what makes this different? This is the first I've ever heard of there being an exception without there being an error.
The only other time the parent retains the original properties despite the child, that 've ever seen, is when you create a duplicate of a stock weapon (same odf name) for a new side and make a child of the duplicate weapon.

That's precisely why I'm posing the question. This is the first I've read of there being any exception to the normal parent-child relationship, outside of the conflicting odf situation I mentioned.

I looked over the first two or three pages and I already learned a lot! I may try to look over it tomorrow, but side editing is what I really want to learn. I really wanted to mod all because of your chaos sides and weapons. Now I can earn!

Re: Dann's ODFs For Dummies Guide
I see. That should be made more clear to avoid further confusion, if it hasn't been changed yet.
