Anyone know of BLEACH?

Probably not many around here who are anime watchers. but if you are, you should recognize this right away...

But anyway, since the BF2 Community STILL lacks many melee weapons, this interesting monolith sword could spruce things up a bit.

The JKA community actually has one, you can compare this with the one at their site if you wish
(which is the JKA equavilant of SWBFFILES from the dropdown menu)

Let me start of with a pic:


Anyone who has read decently or watched deeply into the manga/anime should know the reference of this scene.

So, anyway, let me introduce:

Ahahaha! well anyway, here are some notes:

1. you are allowed to rescale with a .option file(but you need to re-deal with the saber width and length afterwards)
(a suggested scale factor would be 0.75 to 0.9, if you want a more manageable size)

2. you can have a knack at reskinning

3. You may have noticed, then that this file contains the normal Shikai version, and the inverted Hollow version

4. It does have envmap, so act accordingly(read the README if you need more on this)

Ahaha sry I ain't that good at player modeling, even harder if its an anime model.

Though, there maybe the second level release

EDIT: Updated first post with suggested scale factors.

Just try 0.75 to 0.9, and it should shrink to be more reasonable.

(the only reason it is bigger than that is cus the hilt was too tiny for the arms, looking at its gargantuan size now, I sorta realized I don't really care )

EDIT 2: Ok, link re-edited with an updated version. I realized the slight bulkyness and smoothened and rescaled it a bit. The rescale option still stands though.
Readme was also updated with the missing credit.

So sry whoever got the older version, re-DL pls.

Having a bad day or something, Darman? Jeez, he made this, went through the trouble of making this public, so that anyone may use it. What's wrong with that? It's just perfect, for what it's meant to be. If you don't like an asset (why you wouldn't like this one is a mystery to me), why do you have to express that in such a way?

Yeah, ok, sorry man. I just thought it's unuseful for a Star Wars mod. If someone want's to make a map/mod just for fun, itcan be useful.

It could be used as a Vibroblade of sorts.

Hah, the name "Zangetsu" did sound familiar to me. I used to watch Bleach, but I lost interest on it after the second season.

Nice model you have there, only problem with it is the straps on the handle, they look a bit cartoony, I think you should work on that texture a bit (unless it's your intention to make it look cartoony). The Hollow version's handle is fine, though.

Nice! I'd love this to be first in a pack of anime-themed weapons!

i like the weapon and yes i've heard of bleach, never watched/read it though.
