Off-topic :OOM-9, might I know whether you've converted the DC-15B Blaster Carbine's MeSH file shipping with Star Wars Battlefront II into a file-format handled by your Softimage|XSI Mod Tools Copy through BConstructor ? Unless you've conceived the above one on your own ?...
Actually, the current republic pistol isn'tthe carbine anyways, we have been using it as such, but it's really the DC-17 I went ahead and modelled a new weapon which is accurately the DC-15 Carbine
I openned the good old battle droid via bconstructor -> Milkshape -> XSI, but it's model was two funky to use so I had to remodel it using the old bdroid as a template.
This model is completely my own model I made after studying screens and the republic pistol mesh.
While we are at it, OOM', have you equally planned on designing your own textures intended to this DC-15 Blaster Carbine, or will you exploit those created by Pandemic Studios, instead ?

for the battledroid I intend to use the Pandemic textures, because I want the model to conform to the current SWBF2 look.
OK, OOM-9, now I have another question, that you might find rather "dared", but as you're an "extrovert" Star Wars Battlefront I / II modder, I guess you will accept to give me a frank answer...
So, might I know whether you would be ready to release dotXSI files of some of the models you've created so far through Softimage|XSI Mod Tools and which will be used in your upcoming mods ?
I hoping he isn't going to yet as they are going to be used in both the ARC: Republic Vanguard and Clone Wars Realism projects. If he does they will most likey be after these major projects have been presented to the public.
Ps. I'm using the persons i'm staying ats comp, so don't think i'm avoiding you NeVaR, cos i'm not! Oh and the carbine looks great too.
PPs. The current pistol is the DC-17 Repeater Hand Blaster, not to be confused with the DC-17 Pistol which also still needs to be modeled. I gave Dragonum some goods pics but he hasn't been online for a while so i don't know whether he has done anything yet.
PPPs. I'm wondering whether there is going to be any security and pilot droids in RV as to what you said earlier about space maps. If not i would like to thankyou because i guess you are simply making them for me!
I have to admit the texture you've applied to this DC-15 Blaster Carbine's mesh is not bad at all for a "60% completed" one... Did you design it yourself ?
Yah, shotguns have no place in the Star Wars Universe, carbines all the way. lol I am hoping to implement a common weapon for each team. i.e. the carbine will be the sergeant/lietenent clone's weapon and the sbd's second weapon (replacing the tri-shot). the normal clone trooper and the sbd will have a slower more harder hitting rifle/wrist blaster as primary weapons where the engineers will have the average rifle as their weapon. (note: i'm gonna do 2 varients of the blaster/carbine 1 will be normal strength and speed while the other will be faster and weaker)
Let me clarify somethin here. There are 2 types of DC-17 (maybe more, i don't know), the current pistol is a DC-17 Repeater Hand Blaster (meaning that it is fully automatic like the rifles are, not the pistols). The DC-17 Pistol is a pistol varient that is trigger singled. Commander Bly and his lietenants wield dual DC-17 Pistols, unlike Captain Fordo who wields dual DC-17 Repeater Hand Blasters. Oh and BTW Jabba, you don't need to worry about the DC-17 pistol cos i'm gonna have one in my mod!
