Soldier Model Animation not working

I made a clone model in xsi and when i put him ingame, his animation does not work. This was the first time working with a character in xsi and i couldnt find any tuts for settin a character up so im not surprised this happened. I gave him one of the skeletons that comes with XSI thinking that would help, but it doesnt. Anyone have an answer?

the gun does all the soldier animations but he does not, he stays in that position the entire time.
*Clarification* I am not trying to edit the soldiers animation, but the soldiers .msh and use the normal animation. Just want to clear this up **

Did you envelope the geometry to the skeleton?
What did you use to export this to msh(Pandemic Tools,MshEx,SWBFViewer,BConstructor)?

im using mshex, i found and followed the tut word for word and it looks like this now...please help!!!

If you used MshEx then you didn't follow "the tut word for word" since there was no mention of MshEx, 3rd party exporters are no good for this project, Pandemic Tools only.

First things first...
Grab one of the XSI Foundation 30 day trials and install it
Install the PandemicBF2.xsiaddon
Download Unit_template_Beta emdl and drop it into your scene
Start following the tutorial
