Naboo: Coastal Battlegrounds: RELEASED
Hmm, i've been working on Naboo: Coastal Battlegrounds for too long with little progress. I'm looking at just releasing it for what i have done, since the map itself is finished for the most part, and leaving out the buggy extras(a couple missing sounds and the movie). I can't decide though, do i continue with this drudgery, or just release it for good?

If the bugs aren't major, I'd say release it. Maybe work on it more in spare time, but I think you should release it.

Astute, would you mind providing me the mini-movie you've made so far for this project ? (I could try fixing that problem, since I've a certain experience in this modding's domain...

Well, there might not be a need. I've been experimenting with it, none of my movies work. I've even taken working movies from my previous maps and tried them on both NCB and my test map. It's odd though, I do not get an error about a missing video, but it doesn't play anything.

Honestly i just want to drop this project, it seems to not want to get done. Everytime i get something finished it seems to want to make more problems. The poll is for anyone who still wants to play the map.
EDIT: Well, i had a hunch that something wasn't updating, so i removed my addon folder and put in an empty one. To my suprise, after munging, the map never showed. Hmm, mabye thats why its taking so long to fix all these errors

Excellent, my errors (everything bug sound) is fixed. Apparently the munging error went deeper than the tools, notepad was miss pathed. Not sure how it happened, but its fixed now, and i get a movie!!
Going to do some final testing and then it'll be a full release. Because of the difficulty with sound, i'll be leaving out the following sounds.
>At-At
>At-Te
>MAF
>Republic Gunship

I'm glad to say that my map has been sent to swbffiles, and i await its posting. I'll have a link below as soon as i can.
Hmm, even after all the grief its given me, i have to say that i myself was pretty impressed with the AI. The map employs more strategy than just brawling with wave after wave of AI. Sometimes i'd find myself protecting my walker rather than trying to take the next spawn. Believe me, after testing, if you mess up... you get punished for it. Was fighting the CIS all the way back to their only spawn, had the At-Te to my back and a couple clones. So i decided to break away and head straight into the CIS airbase. Out of no where an AAT flys over the ridge and blows up our walker, which the explosion kills half our guys. Then a wave of droids pick off the remaining troops(including me) and beat us back to our last spawn. Was quite a battle, the match ended 15min later with only a 5 point lead for the REP.
Sry for the war story, just wasting time while i wait lol.
