Okay, I ran into some kind of lack of ideas for the cis side.
For now I have a B1 as normal soldier, B2 as assault unit (or heavy), a Droideka as, well droideka, and a geonosian elite unit equipped with a powerful beam cannon...but'that's it.

So I thought I might ask you for your opinions, so go ahead and post your idea for a side setup.
if you want to, post weapon setup suggestions as well.

Thanks for your support. :)
You could use kinetos' droid commando as a special unit, a magnaguard as, well, a magnaguard, and maybe as a local side, the undead geonosians (but only have them to stay under the ground, them being like zombies), and a B2-HA Battledroid as an assault unit (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/B2-HA_se ... ttle_droid), and some type of infiltration unit...

but thats just my opinion :)

Hm, the droid commando sounds nice, not sure about the Magna Gurad though...
I already have a local side containing lots of bugs to shoot down with the z6. :D

Infiltratrion unit...maybe I have an idea for it already.

Thanks for your input my friend.

You need some form of heavy weapons for the CIS and possible a sniper.

If you think what you already saw was great, then wait and watch this.

Adds a nice BF3 feeling, doesn't it?

Maybe a Geo or droid with a heavy anti-vehicle beam laser? Acts like the Grebug Elite Beam, but wider, red, and deals constant and reasonable damage on a vehicle scale, but minimal damage to units. (Or just make it unstable and inaccurate so you can't really hit a unit)

Hm, maybe I will, thanks for the idea.

@Everybody: I changed the camera position for every unit now, it looks far more like F3, but should I try and move it down too or would you like to stay as it's in the vid?

The map looks pretty solid in terms of visuals, although that command post just outside of the shield seems to be hanging out in the middle of nowhere (and it's weird to be bumped up right against the shield).

As I was saying in the above:
commandoCC-9811 wrote:B2-HA Super Battledroid as an demolition unit (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/B2-HA_se ... ttle_droid)
Pretty much, click the link.
I think that a B2 with a grenade launcher would work as a demolition unit :).
And maybe use the BF1 Geonosian Fighter for the local sides.
And maybe even a B3 ultra battle droid as another special unit (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/B3_ultra_battle_droid).
And, for the clone troopers, have it so that instead of saying "Gamma ***" Have it say "CT or CC ****" and maybe even have some names at the end, like "Hawkeye", "Razor", or "Redeye".
But tis' up to you, Darth_Spiderpig!

Unfortunately I can't edit the super battle droid to have the new arm grenade launcher since I don't have the skeleton for it to re-envelope.
Nah, I don't like Ultra Battledroids, so I guess I won't add them.

But the idea for the clone trooper names is good, I will see what I can do.

we found a clone expert. would be great if you could add the names.
would be awesome if you could make the names random and add the characteristic armor to them example

loading map first trooper = "Boss" orange armor
you die (i won't hope it)
first trooper = "Sev" red armor i think? or was it green??
the weapons will be always the same for ARCs you can make

ordo red
Mereel blue
...

in my humble opinion it would be not worth the effort in case it would be possible. and honestly, who would compare the armorcolor of a clone he just killed with the small name on the left edge of the screen in the heat of the battle?
