So I reskinned Icemember's D-day-style trooper. Tried going for a Pacific-style approach. Forgive the blurriness, it's just a proof of concept. Taking inspiration from the camo helmet covers that U.S. soldiers in the Pacific used on their M1 helmets and the rest of it inspired by the jacket (I am aware that a variety of uniforms were used in both Pacific and other fronts). Not my most high-quality work, by any means, then again, almost none of my skins were known for quality anyways.

I realised the view screws up if I keep the texture name on the Snowtrooper as default. When I hex-edited a different name into the model (from snowtrooper2.tga into galmarine.tga) the texturing corrected itself.
It's not hugely different from yours but I used parts from the Galactic Marine texture, mainly for the eyes, belt and some of the gear.
