I used your advice Taivyx and came up with this: I desaturated the colour on all but the face. Then with a translucent brown brush, I lightly went over some areas. Finaly using the same brush only in black this time, I painted over the face to give it a camo-paint look.
Here is what it looks like ingame: Personally, I am happy with this and feel no need to continue it until i beome either a very good modeler or hex-editer.

That's great, about as perfect as you can get with that wookie model

Looks great, really good for a first skin . You should try to get rid of chewbaca's belt, but that could involve some hex editing.

ok guys, lol i looked at the skin a little closer (mine) and yea, i actually agree. ill post the better version soon.

obiboba3po, It is not the worst skin in the world, but I recommend if you are trying to edit it change the RGB levels. It helps improve apperance and crazziness lol

They don't look painty, they look like they've litterally been painted.

lol really? i havent played it so im not really sure what they look like. i was just going for a swirly kinda symboly kinda skin. i just came up with a slew of new republic skins, they look pretty good. does anyone wanna see them? also, you may seem some resemblence, but my map is supposed to be crazy, but im not copying, i have not seen a maze map before, id say that is original.
