Know this is offtopic, but just so I can get this out,

the magna guard should be able to jump higher than normal characters.


Furthermore, how about some ingame shots?

yeah, but its health stays the same, so it can be killed by a grenade or a few blaster shots still.

It was purple. Who made the previous staff? Was it you Lord-Bandu? Did you give up?

Back on topic, the staff looks good. I would really love to see a Magna Guard use that instead of that disgusting Bulldog RLR.

nope I havent given it up. In fact Im making the other kinds of electro staff aswell. Im just not gonna post pics of them untill they are completely done.

Im not one to hijack threads with pics of my own stuff and I think 1 magna staff WIP is enough for 1 forum :)

yep, but i'm trying to use darth vaders cloak animations, but its not working

Absolutely awesome :P. I sure hope the staff isn't as powerful as Darth Maul's saber, because it doesn't cut, it electrocutes. Other than that though, great job!

Actually, it bludgeons and electrocutes. It's like getting clubbed by something likely very heavy, and being toasted. I remembr the elctrostaffs were especially deadly and designed that way so that the electricity would conduct through the clones armor and obliterate them.

Now all we need is for the magnaguard to have a real cape. OOM-9 managed to get a battledroid into XSI and edited it, maybe we culd edit the magnaguard to have a cloth hardpoint and make the cape they wear(I probably couldn't model the cape though).

Also, it would probably be more fitting if instead of the Bulldog you gave them wrist rockets. Magnaguards fired seeker missiles from inside their body, it would just seem moe right if he wasn't holding a gun.

These aside, the very last thing it wuld need is new anmations like from the clone wars cartoons, with lots of spinning and smashing...

Seems I've gone off track. great work, Penguin. Getting it an acurate electrical effect may not necessarily be possible, but what you have now would probably be better anyway.
