Battlefront 294

Hiya fellas. For a while now I've been setting up a large-scale sides mod for BF. It would be similar to ggutck's Main Play Mod in the sense that units would vary from map to map. However, the sides would be mostly fanon (fan-created, by me of course) sides. It isn't near done, but there is plenty to show off.

Factions include the Imperial Gamma Force, the Republic's 180th Legion, Rebel Infiltrators and the all-new CIS Striketrooper Corps.

Here's a list of weapons of my creation used in the mod:

Radiation Launcher (180th)
[A form of the CIS grenade-style radation launcher just in rocket form like the Republics EMP launcher]
Anti-Armor Launcher (180th, Clones)
[Seen in Duulan: Canyon Village, based on the Republic Commando DC-17 AA attatchment]
Rotary Rocket Launcher (Striketroopers)
[A six-shot rocket launcher, uses the chaingun model for BF2]
Striketrooper Blaster Rifle (Striketroopers)
[A single-shot blaster rifle that is more powerful than a standard one]
Wave Pulser (Stiketroopers)
[Think "force push-in-a-gun"]
Remote-Controlled Battle Droid (Stiketroopers)
[No need to comment]
Bomb (Striketroopers)
[A super-powered form of the time bomb]
Beam Cannon (Rebels, Infiltrators)
[Seen in some of my Gamma Force maps]
Disruptor Rifle (Infiltrators)
[Anyone played JK2? Here is an attempt to recreate the disruptor from that game]
High-Explosive Launcher (Infiltrators)
[Fires a rocket-powered high explosive round]
Concussion Rifle (IGF)
[Seen in some of my previous maps]
Anti-Vehicle Rifle (IGF)
[I haven't used this weapon since my Tatooine: Desert Alliance maps a long time ago]
Flak Launcher (IGF)
[If you've played Ranen: Platforms then you probably love this weapon]
Scatter Gun (IGF, Striketroopers)
[Seen in many of my previous maps]
Advanced Grenade (IGF)
[See Scatter Gun comment)
Missile Strike (Duulanians)
[Similar to the Artillary Strike seen in Karccev: Forest]

This looks interesting.

Quick question: If you are using the IGF in you mod, should I take out the IGF from my mod?

This looks very interesting. Good work so far :thumbs: However, I would change the Zombie clone - the blood needs to look more real.

Why should you, I mean, it can be in both mods. As long as it isn't in every mod for swbf it should still be fine.

The mod looks nice, after I've seen the WIP mods for swbf I mods, I've been wanting the game more and more...

Hmm, I thought the blood looks pretty good. I've tried other ways of adding blood to the texture but this seems the best I can come up with.

No you can keep it in. I guess I only object if you add a story to it, since I perfer to be the author of any of the IGF's storyline.

Nope. It's only a stormtrooper legion that appears on Cloud City in my mod.

The zombies don't look very zombie-ish. You should try playing with the textures a little bit more and see if you can make zombies look more realistic.
