How to make custom banners.

Post by (502)GEN.york »

Ok so I got Zero editor to work but in my map I wish to add a custom banner. or at least something that I can put my clans name on or my own name. I know all about editing Tga's so my question is do I need to make a model of a square or is there a released one or what do I need.

you could actually use any model with a flat surface by simply activating transparency and only make the banner not transparent (but many models use repaitive textures so...)

you can also make a new model but either in the assets or squeddies modelpack or saturns legomodelpack you will find something that fits abanner (i think ther is one in squeddies pack)

Ok and say if I'm making more than one banner so can I, have more than one custom texture? like edit once then place it edit it again. or would it just all turn up to be the same?

oh and where are his assets if you don't mind.

you will have to copy the model, rename it and hexedit the name of the texture it uses to be able to have "various" textures on the same model

you can find "squeddies pack of sourcemodels" in the assetssection and i do mind
