Aravore Battle City v.2

Aravore Battle City v.2

http://files.filefront.com/Aravore_Battle_...;/fileinfo.html
This is a joint project between Caleb, Dann Boeing and I, Davis Orser.
All credit goes to where its due.

Plot: 200 years after the conflicts on Osta, and its destruction,
the galaxy had returned to peace. Or so they thought.

As the first Galactic Duel tournament begins on the planet of Aravore,
tention rises as a new threat emerges from the darkness of space.

Sith Lord Rancor and his remaining apprentice have sided with the
Jedi Counsil in hopes of defeating his old master, Sarlaac.

Info:

CW is the modded version of this map, featuring the Jedi counsil and the sith remnant
on the heros side, and Sarlaac's team as villians. These new characters are mostly
based off of others I know online. I have done my best to balance the new force
powers but its not wise to rely on spamming them to win.

GCW is unmodded version, with all the cast from Mos Eisly Assault.

Manual Installation:

1) Unzip the download and copy the folder (ABC)

2) Go to the folder My Computer.

3) Go to Program Files (the Folder, Not the start menu)

4) Go to Lucasarts.

5) Go to Gamedata.

6) In Gamedata, Right-Click to make a new folder.Right click on the
folder and rename it to "addon" if you dont already have an addon folder.

7) Paste in the Folder (ABC)

Congrats, you just installed my map. Keep in mind this is the first version and
It'll get better with the next version

Credits:

Vyse for the vibro blade stuff.

Teancum for the models and such I used from the heros side.

Dann Boeing for map adjustments, the dann boeing skin, dann's rifle, and of course the Boeing Bomb 3.0

Caleb for the crazy force powers that SomeN00b gave him.
And also everything else he's done for me.

Credit to SomeN00b for making most of the new uber powers. I only edited stuff for
balancing purposes.

Rends for the coruscant vehicles.

(Updated)

I have added an elevater of doom into the mountain. Careful, its a rough dangerous ride, and there IS
a secret path planted along the way. If you find it, its not a glitch, its intended to be explored.
Do be careful, if something moves AWAY from you, you need to wait for it to come back.

LOL I love those kind of Yodas, they're hilarious!

Well, for starters, and I cannot stress it enough, Dann Boeing did some major help on making the mountains look great, and rearranged the map to be better. And he added the waterfall. ^_^;

The yoda was as simple as giving him emperor's animations, and stuff. Its the opposite effect of shrinking someone by giving them yoda's animations and skeleton.

Don't forget also designing the Dann Boeing unit as well as the weapons i used and a couple other weapons in the game, (the rest were done by or at leastd based on weapons by caleb)

Loved it. Played it for a long time.

The units are awesome :D :D :D

The map's a bit big though, you don't encounter many enemies.

I will not be doing any more major projects for a while now. Im branching out to help the community with a modding request topic (Its not here, you guys are too demanding :P) to help enhance my skills at modding. Then I hope to tackle a dragon ball z map.

just as a side note, the request topic here rarely works and actually grants people's requests, so i highly suggest that gametoast find a better way to handle requests.

If you do get around to that DB map, I made a Goku unit once, and I'd be happy to send you the assets (I also made a test map to go with him). Let me know, or look it up here.
