talking about reviving the dead, im thinking of continuing on this thing :P only the CIS left to be finished... beta soon...anyone intrested??

EDIT: by the way if you could change the clone commando skin from grey to something like green camo it would be very nice

Did a test run of it yesterday..was GREAT :P cis needs work but it will be done ;)

I thought this map was dead, this was my favorite map in progress during December/January. I am so glad you are continuing this :P I would gladly beta test this map :wink:

well u get to beta it then pm me on here and il get u the details.

Progress update:

Cis Battledroid Commander = Done
Cis Battledroid Demolitionist = Done
Cis Battledroid Combat Engineer = Done
Cis B2 Super Battledroid = Done
Cis Battledroid Pilot = Done

I made some changes to the classes on the Cis i figured battledroids dont have such a WIDE variaty of weapons so i gave the commander and combat engineer both carbines only the commanders one is heavy and the engineers one is light. The Demolitionist carries a quad burst fire rocket launcher which does less damage then a normal one its also less acurate. The Pilot has a flamethrower which ill probably change to a poison launcher.

Indeed this is the best map I have played in a long time, I could easily play this map for hours and never get board with it. There were no bugs that I found other than the units and weapons need localizing, but Some things I think you should do though are:

- Add a loading screen
- Add new hero's even if it means just slightly changing their skins
- Add first person view for all the units (at least the clones because when you have the Unofficial 1.2 Patch installed the first person clone armor is blue)
- Add in the Swamp Speeder because it was in the glimpse that we saw of Felucia during Episode III
- Add in just a couple Ackly as locals
- Lower the Reinforcements just a little bit, 1500 is a little high maybe go down to 800 or somewhere around there
- Knock out GCW unless you plan to have a custom GCW era
- This would be a great map to have objectives in it, if you want I think you should have a Campaign

I have a new aalya in the works but im having tentacle problems
good one il change the first person view
good diea il probably replace the atrt with the swapspeeder
acklays maybe the map isnt big enough for em.
il probably nock the reinforcements down to 1000
GCW will be gone
didnt realy think about a campaign


and yeah localization still needs to be done. and the vehicles will be redone aswell plus some unit tweaks.

my short reviev:
i really love this map, the b2 is my favourite unit its soo much fun to run over all those reps
bugs or whatever:
-acklays are missing (i thought i would hear their sounds)
-the explosion of the b2gun and other weapons looks kinda bad (is it selfmade, or is a fx file missing?)
-sides are unlocalized
-(i think this hast to do with this map, but)the units are ofter rolling and the half of the units die after rolling, its very funny
-i like the weapon setup :D
-a command post is floating a little bit (the one the hill near the water)
-ai doesnt use vehicles frequently
boba fett seems to be wrong as cis hero

the acklay is just ambiance sounds :P, i like the explosions, their the pre release SWBF1 ones , the heroes will be changed i jsut need a new hero for CIS >,<, the rolling is like WTF i didnt notice that O.o, the floating cp il look into, the localization just isnt done yet xD also the Droideka needs to be done :P

maybe its just me..
and yes, the droideka is to weak
and the kamas seam to float trough the units legs, when you select an unit in the spawnscreen

About aayla's tentacles, take the basepose.msh from assets\animations\soldieranimationbank\aayla and paste it into your new anim-map! (so data_...\animations\soldieranimationbank\whateverit'scalled) If you're not making new mixed anims, and don't know how this works, but just want Aayla with the anims of another asset's character tell me; I'm done with it in 3 secs ;)

the map is really awesome
most of the bugs (and there are not many bugs) were already listed above so there is what i noticed
- i got jango fett as cis hero, but by that time he was already dead
- you use a new model for dc-17m carbine which is very good, but you still have the old models for sniper and anti-armor attachments
- also clone commando is a real tank that overpowers every enemy unit (but i even like it)
- i also like the blaster bolts amd rate of fire, it makes it kinda movie like (and reminds me on imperial base map which was prety movie like too), awesome work
- however the dc15 rifle is a bit too weak i think, dc15 carbine is much stronger in your map
- you could also make the bacta cannon heal a bit faster, cause now it takes really much time to heal a wounded unit
anyways this are only small things that are not so important

yes i do need a replacement for jango, suggestions would be much apriciated.

tha dc 18 cabine will be replaced with a better model, probably some diferent the in RC. the dc15a actualy does more damagen then the carbine only its less acurate cause of the hgiher rate of fire. the bacta canon il look into it also needs a new effect and sound.

also the droideka will be redone with dual heavy blaster and an over powered shield, i want to have it that even as a jedi your avoiding the droidekas.
