OMG. This.Game.Rocks. Way better than Soul Calibur 4. I'm not a big fighting game guy, but this has a really, REALLY well done story to go along with the fights. The gore is also very toned down, so it's rated T for those folks who can't yet get M games. Personally I like it at the T level. I know MK is all about the blood and guts fatalities, but these non-gory fatalities are just as good. Great new gameplay mechanics too.

I saw a trailer for that. Looks interesting. Errr, wait no. Probably not... Thumb-smashing goodness, perhaps?

I haven't really been a fan of fighting games either, although I got Soul Calibur 2 just for Link.

I haven't heard of it, but is it actually called, "Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe"?

Yeah, I'm not a huge gore guy myself. I've been playing through MK: Shaolin Monks for the first time too (which also rocks), and honestly I could have done with a bit less gore, or at least an option to turn it down like in Armageddon.

And for all of you thinking "Fighting games are boring" -- man I hear ya. I really do. But this is the first VS fighting game in a looooooong time that I'm seriously thinking about buying. I've had the rental for like a week now .
