Zeroeditor and The Best of PC SWBF.
Sorry to ask this as SWBF is pretty dead here, but do any of you know how to get zeroeditor to work with the Best of PC version of SWBF? The inability to make maps is drving me crazy.
I'll take anyway, be it a hexedit, moving files aroud or what not. I have checked everywhere extensively and have not found an answer.
Thanks.

If you get a 'encountered a problem and needs to close' then check the FAQ thread in the SWBF2 Modding forum. Most of that stuff will apply here.

I have the same problem. If you have SWBF2, you might be able to use the SWBF2 Zeroeditor to open SWBF maps but I haven't tested it.

Sorry for not specifying the problem. ZE doesn't even recognize that SWBF is installed. I tried all the fixes listed with the modtools, but those seem to work only for a CD version (which I cant find right now
).
The idiotic part is the filepath is the same but it must be that fact that the BoPC is a DVD. Did a similar problem occur with the SWBF2 modtools? Or were they made for use on both CD and DVD versions?
