Modelling in Blender

Post by MissingTexture »

Are there any video tutorials about modelling in Blender? I know there is a thread here, but that link for the tutorial is dead.

There are a lot of tutorials about modeling in Blender, just have to google for them.
I would recommend CGCookie but they've recently overhauled their site which now says you need to be a "citizen" ($23 a month) to watch the videos. You can still find older ones in their archive though. Search for "modeling"
https://cgcookie.com/archive/
Videos in their archive must be downloaded and watched, they are no longer being streamed.

What do you want to do in Blender? I need to know what you are doing so that I could help or not. What I am doing in Blender is porting the entire Star Wars Battlefront 2 cast to the Source Engine, Garry's Mod to be specific. That includes giving a skeleton to the model, assigning the vertexes to the bones, and exporting. If you are trying to create your own custom model then I can not help you at the moment because I have no idea how to do that. You can contact me via Gametoast or my Steam profile.

Hope this helps,
