I'm pretty sure that to use the GT tag, you have to be in the GT clan.

The [GT] clan has long been disbanded, I think. So there shouldn't be any harm if a member of GT forums were to use the tag (of a dead clan), I think. If I'm wrong, please don't hurt me.
