and if you do like it say why you do!
Oh, I'm really sorry, where did I?
I can't remember trying to post in caps?

About the caps.
"swbf 1" is supose to be capitolized
So if that was the problem I don't know,
just can't seem to figure what got cap's that wasn't supose to?
Really like the new map. It was good that you could go two different routes in either direction, giving you a choice and making it re-playable. I also liked the loading screen with the famous Star Wars quote, nice touch. I don't really have anything bad to say except maybe to add a mini-map but then again it was easy to find your way, so it doesn't really need it. I did see a few bots falling over the edge so maybe you could add more barriers down the side of the bridges, unless you did already... barriers don't always work. Anyway your doing better than me, I'm still along way from starting my next map. You have definitely got good design ideas. Looking forward to more.
I played this one last night and I have to say I had one heck of a killing fest with the sniper and the ARC trooper in the Main Play Mod (The only issue I had with his mod was with Count Dooku taking everyone out with his force lightning). Kudos to you. I enjoyed the layout and it was small which was a great setting for the map. Most of you are having an issue with the mini map I heard, but I have one when I play. The only thing missing is the actual terrain and whatnot. The command posts showed up fine on it.
I rate it 9/10 for the fun I had with it. I think it's great using it with a mod too.
Thank you for the posts.
Sounds like it turned out to be a good map!
And I never tested it with heros on (forgot)
or with any mods
and yes there are barriers along almost all the map edges, but the bots just
sort of ignore them
Yea, sure EA711
I've actually got a zip file with almost every part of the map in it except some stock assets that took up to much space and can be refilled by anyone with swbf 1 mod tools (it's all explained in the read me!)
I'll try to get the file onto filefront.com soon!
P.S. oh, I get it about the snowtroopers. But how would I make the map read to add snowtroopers as they are stock and somehow inside of the normally side .lvl?
TY
p.p.s Does anyone know of a safer less conspicuous way to release these assets. Because I don't want people just downloading them left and right. I want these to be available for modders not as much for people who don't know what to do with them.
Wait, EA, do you want it so that you can play his map with your sides mod?
You can simply edit your LUA so it calls for your modified SIDE files and and then edit it so it calls for the world .lvl for Rhen Var Bridge, then paste it into your addon folders where the world lvl is
@newguy thank you, It is ok I do not need the assets. To get snow troopers on the map edit the mission lua's they are in:
Hidden/Spoiler:
[your_map/Common/Scripts/your_map_name]
The should be two LUA files they will be [called your_map_namea] and [your_map_namec] the one with a suffix is for the GCW and the one with the c suffix is for the CW open them and find the units that you want to change. eg. change imp_inf_basic_tie to imp_inf_basicsnow then change imp_inf_storm_trooper to imp_inf_storm_troopersnow add the word snow to the shock trooper and scout trooper in the same way.Change imp_inf_pilottie to imp_inf_pilotatat. Save it and munge your map. Look in the IMP side folder in the assets file inside the IMP folder there should be a file called REQ in the you will find the basicsnow files and inside that will be the imp_inf_pilotatat. so pick and choose from there you can do the same with any side.
second Q: Xfire
@breakdown it does call for my sides but it calls for the sand troopers from my side and want to change it to the snowtroopers by making a new mission lvl/lua. I will also make a new core lvl. But thank you anyway
